- My preferred way of exploring these places is by means of slow travel.
- The challenge has always been the why, where, what, when, and how to experience slow travel in a responsible manner.
For June 2023, we will embark on a slow travel experience to the Dolomites in Italy in our first collaboration with Italian specialist Ergo: Travel.
About Tim and Eco Adventures
I’ve been in the travel business since I co-founded Eco Adventures in 1997.
We started with travel to the Himalaya, Indochina and Borneo, and later expanded our offerings to other destinations in Asia and beyond.
The focus has always been active vacations for small groups of friends and families in a sustainable way. We offered trips by Imaginative Traveller, G Adventures (formerly GAP Adventures) and Intrepid Travel.
Our ties with local operators/ground handlers with responsible travel practices allowed us to offer exemplary products and services to a discerning clientele. Our customised itineraries have found favour with many of our travellers with specific interests and inclinations in culture, nature and/or adventure travel.
